Requisition ID: 7439ERP Eligible?: YesERP amount: $50 LMRecognitionRelocation: NoType: RepresentedShift: 1Clearance Prior to Start: Interim SecretFinal Clearance: TS/SCIPay Transparency: $29.44 - $53.13Experience Level: Hourly/Non-ExemptFT/PT/Casual: FullTimeDepartment: SpaceBusiness Unit: SpaceOccupational SummaryIndependently install, modify, maintain and evaluate entire electronic checkout and data acquisition systems.Perform/assist engineering investigations, evaluations and demonstrations associated with FBM support equipment and other special projects.Work PerformedIndependently perform the following work: Operate and test any support or data acquisition system.Diagnose/troubleshoot equipment system failures, isolate cause and take necessary corrective action.Plan methods, operations or sequences necessary to perform system installations and/or required modifications.Select, set up and operate special test equipment to collect, record and/or observe data or signals necessary for failure analysis and for the evaluation of new hardware design or procedural changes.Devise, fabricate and evaluate special test apparatus required for failure analysis or design evaluation.Make sketches and instructions as required.Evaluate/assist with engineering in the investigation of system anomalies. Can include support equipment, facility equipment, missile systems and missile operations to include flights.Troubleshoot/repair/analyze communication equipment or transmission media to include electromagnetic, fiber optic and transmission line devices.Operate, data acquisition system to process engineering evaluation production and flight test data.Work with production, operations and/or engineering documentation to include work authorization documents, discrepancy documents, sketches, drawings, wiring diagrams, logic diagrams and/or oral/written technical instructions.Independently operate, troubleshoot, repair and maintain computer, network and peripheral equipment to include a rudimentary programming capability; activate, assemble, load test, and stack test missile batteries; build-up assemble/test flight instrumentation packages and supporting hardware.Use various tools to include standard electronic hand tools, precision measuring instruments, shop equipment (drill press, grinder, saws, etc.), fabrication equipment (wire-wrap, crimp and solder station), as necessary to accomplish assigned work.Knowledge and Ability RequiredComplete knowledge of electronic theory and practices necessary to troubleshoot and repair such equipment as data acquisition, computer control consoles and peripheral equipment.Ability to devise circuitry, schematics and other types of wiring information.Complete knowledge of and experience with digital logic equipment, systems, and theory is mandatory.Must be able to interpret complex logic diagrams, engineering drawings and other authorized technical data.Typically requires an A.A. in electronics, or completion of a two-year program in electronics technology, three years of directly related experience.Desired/Preferred SkillsJourneyman License Preferred.IPC-610 Certification Preferred.Previous Cable/Harness build experience preferred.Previous FBM experience/ SSBN experience.Experience with oscilloscopes.Experience with spectrum analyzers.Experience in troubleshooting.Familiarity with RF concepts.Ability to calibrate test equipment.Ability to perform Preventative Maintenance (PM).Training in Explosive Safety / Ordnance.Certification in High Voltage/High Current.Ability to convey technical findings to engineers.Experience participating in multidisciplinary test teams.Familiarity with Missile Systems.Familiarity with MIL STD and other aerospace standards.Ability to work in tight spaces.Ability to lift equipment.Pay Information $29.44 - $53.13At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
