Electronics Test And Assembly Technician (Entry-Level)Silvus Technologies, a leading provider of advanced MANET and MIMO communications systems, is reshaping mesh network technology for mission-critical applications – on the ground, in the air and at sea. Its battle-proven StreamCaster family of MANET radios and proprietary MN-MIMO waveform provides the vital communications link for defense, law enforcement and public safety agencies around the world, and in the toughest operational environments.Silvus Technologies is a wholly owned subsidiary of Motorola Solutions, Inc.Would you like to join an incredibly talented group of people, doing very challenging work, with the prime directive of "Keeping Our Heroes Connected"?The opportunitySilvus is looking for a full-time Electronics Technician for the production team of Silvus' StreamCaster line of MIMO radios. This role will work closely with operations management and engineering to ensure high quality and timely delivery as well as provide feedback for continuous improvement of the product.The position is full-time, on-site daily, Monday through Friday. The location for this role is Silvus Technologies' HQ in the heart of vibrant West LA.Role and responsibilitiesTesting of sensitive electronic assemblies and printed circuit boards (PCBs).Final assembly and inspection of finished products.System testing and quality control testing in production.Statistics logging and reporting with daily feedback to the team.Perform other related duties of which the above are representative.Required qualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED.Good manual dexterity and strong hand skills with tools (tweezers, screw/bolt drivers, torque wrenches).Competent as a PC user, and computer savvy.Collaborative spirit, committed to team success.Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.Excellent communication skills and teamwork.Enjoys hands-on work; is careful and detail oriented.Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen, or U.S. Permanent Resident) due to clients under U.S. federal contracts.All employment is contingent upon the successful clearance of a background check.Preferred knowledge skills and abilitiesExperience in an electronics manufacturing and testing environment.Linux experience is a plus.Working conditions and physical requirementsIndoor air-conditioned facilityOccasional exposure to heat and cold.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to do the following:Lift up to 25 lbs.Walking/Moving in the labs.CompensationThe pay range is NOT a guarantee. It is based on market research and peer data, and will vary depending on the candidate's experience and qualifications.CA Pay Range$21.63 - $22.66 USDConsistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity.
