Job Summary and Responsibilities
nAs our Electrophysiology/ General Cardiology Advanced Practitioner, you will be a vital member of our cardiac care team, specializing in advanced electrophysiology procedures. nEvery day you will collaborate closely with our Electrophysiologist to conduct comprehensive pre-procedure evaluations, meticulously reviewing patient histories and interpreting critical diagnostic tests. You'll dedicate yourself to patient education, empowering individuals and their families by clearly explaining heart procedures, potential risks, and essential post-procedure care. Your role will involve seamless patient care coordination, from initial preparation through recovery and follow-up, ensuring continuity and addressing any emergent concerns. You will document medical records diligently and provide continuous education on medication management and lifestyle modifications, significantly impacting long-term cardiac health.
nTo be successful in this role, you will possess a strong foundational knowledge in cardiac electrophysiology and advanced practice. Your ability to effectively communicate complex medical information to diverse audiences, both verbally and in writing, will be paramount. We are looking for a highly organized professional who excels in interdisciplinary team collaboration, working seamlessly with nurses, physicians, and allied health staff. This position requires a commitment to medical record accuracy and adherence to regulatory standards, all while providing compassionate, high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
nWe are offering a competitive 2 year salary guarantee then RVU-based, a sign-on bonus, full benefits, CME allowance, Malpractice with tail coverage, and relocation assistance for eligible candidates. nnnDegree as a Physician Assistant

nnActive or eligible license in the state of Arizona
n
nnGraduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program
n
nnBackground in pre-med preferred
n
nnMinimum 3 years Cardiology PA experience, preferably in an acute setting.
n
nnMust hold and maintain: a.) AZ Regulatory Board of Physician Assistants License, b.) NCCPA - National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistant
n
nnValid DEA registration
n
nnMust meet credentialing criteria for medical staff
n
n nNP
nnnMaster's Degree in nursing. Graduate of accredited program for nurse practitioners
n
nnActive or eligible license in the state of Arizona
n
nnCompact state or Arizona RN license
n
nnSurgical First Assist certification
n
nnMinimum of 3 years Cardiology NP experience, preferably in an acute setting.
n
nnMust hold and maintain National Certificate as a nurse practitioner in area of specialty under AZ regulations: a.) NP-AACN, b.) NP-AANP, c.) NP-ANCC, or d). NP-PNCB

nnValid DEA registration
n
nnMust meet credentialing criteria for medical staff
