Job description
Lovelace Medical Group and the New Mexico Heart Institute are seeking an experienced Physician Assistant or NP with a background in electrophysiology, cardiac care, critical care, or intensive care to join our well‑established, patient‑centered cardiology team in Albuquerque, NM.
Position Highlights
Full‑time inpatient/outpatient rotation
No call or weekend requirements
Collaborate with electrophysiologists to manage patients with arrhythmias and other EP‑related conditions
Provide follow‑up care, patient education, and medication management
Access to advanced on‑site diagnostics including echo, vascular, CT, and nuclear imaging
Be part of a supportive, multidisciplinary team that values APPs as integral providers
Smart technology: Epic EMR and Ambience AI scribe technology to automate documentation and improve patient flow, leading to better work‑life balance and revenue
Qualifications
Licensed PA or NP with prescriptive authority in NewMexico
DEA license required
Minimum 1–2 years of cardiology or EP experience preferred
