Job description
Make a positive impact on students' lives by providing vital speech-language services in an educational setting. This contract opportunity allows you to support a diverse population, from elementary through high school, by fostering communication skills that set students up for lifelong success.
Ideal candidates will bring:
Current and valid certification and licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
Experience or strong interest in working with elementary, middle, and high school students.
A dedication to collaboration with teachers, families, and other professionals.
Excellent communication, assessment, and organizational skills.
Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
Your day-to-day responsibilities may include: Conducting evaluations and assessments to identify students requiring speech-language services.
Designing and implementing therapy plans tailored to individual student needs.
Monitoring and documenting student progress towards educational and developmental goals.
Consulting and collaborating with educators, administrators, and families.
Participating in school-related meetings to advocate for student communication needs.
Assisting with the development of intervention strategies and accommodations.
