Job description
School Counselor
Location: Fredericksburg, VA
Pay: $35.44-$45.75/hour
Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours/week
Responsibilities
Provide academic, career, and social-emotional counseling
Assess student needs and monitor progress
Consult and collaborate with families and school staff
Support appropriate student referrals and resources
Maintain accurate student records and confidentiality
Help promote students' academic, social, and emotional development
Qualifications Master's degree from a regionally accredited college or university
Completion of a state-approved counselor preparation program
Ability to obtain the Virginia license or endorsement required by the district
