Job description
Step into a rewarding contract position supporting young learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist in an elementary school setting. This full-time opportunity begins as soon as possible and extends through June 5, 2026, providing stability and meaningful engagement with a community of vibrant students.
You'll collaborate with educators and families to deliver impactful speech and language services to approximately 50 children, ranging from preschool through third grade. Your expertise will make a genuine difference in each student's educational experience and communication development.
Qualifications and Experience:
Current certification and valid license as a Speech-Language Pathologist
Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred
Knowledge of assessment, diagnosis, and therapy best practices for children with communication disorders
Ability to create individualized education plans (IEPs) and document progress effectively
Strong communication skills and the ability to engage positively with students, staff, and families
Comfortable working as part of a multidisciplinary support team
Responsibilities: Provide speech and language assessments, therapy, and intervention for students from preschool to grade three
Manage a caseload of approximately 50 students, tailoring support to each individual's goals and needs
Develop and maintain IEPs, track progress, and communicate results with parents and staff
Collaborate with teachers and school personnel to support student success in the classroom
Attend meetings and contribute to school initiatives supporting speech and language development
Maintain accurate documentation in alignment with school and state requirements
