Job description
Step into a rewarding role supporting elementary and middle school students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a vibrant educational community near Peyton, CO. This full-time contract opportunity allows you to make a genuine difference by fostering communication skills in K-8 learners while collaborating with dedicated educators. Workdays run from 7:15 am to 3:15 pm, providing work-life balance and consistent scheduling.
What We're Seeking:
Valid SLP certification and licensure to practice within the state
Experience working with K-8 learners, developing and implementing communication interventions
Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork abilities
Ability to develop IEP goals, conduct assessments, and document student progress
Passion for fostering inclusive learning environments and student growth
What You'll Be Doing: Deliver speech and language therapy services to elementary and middle school students (K-8 caseload)
Conduct comprehensive evaluations and write clear, actionable reports
Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs
Document progress and collaborate with educators and families to maximize outcomes
Attend IEP meetings and contribute your expertise to multidisciplinary teams
Consult with staff and families to support carryover of strategies in the classroom
