Job description
School Nurse
Location: Wilkins Elementary STEAM Academy
Reports To: Building Principal and Asst. To The Superintendent For Admin Services
Qualifications:
Valid Pennsylvania Certification as School Nurse preferred
Must be a Registered Nurse and a Bachelor's degree is required
Duties:
Conduct school health services
Maintain up-to-date cumulative health records on all students
Observe students on a regular basis to detect health needs
Prepare and submit required reports
Administer necessary first aid and medication in accordance with written prescription received from parents
Terms Of Employment:
Salary and evaluation are in accordance with the current collective bargaining agreement.
