Gunnison County is governed by an elected three member Board of County Commissioners serving four-year overlapping terms.The Gunnison Valley is famous for both summer and winter outdoor recreation. In summer, explore the two million acres of public lands by hiking and mountain biking. In winter, alpine skiing at Crested Butte Mountain Resort is unmatched. There are dozens of miles of scenic cross-country ski trails, too. The County pays monthly on the last weekday of the month.To provide generalist CBMS program services including all public assistance program areas of food assistance, adult and child financial and medical assistance. Functions include application initiation, interactive interviews and ongoing case management and program eligibility re-determinations.Requirements include a valid Colorado driver's license and completion of ICS 100, ICS 200 and ICS 700 within the first year of employment.Qualifications/Education include a bachelor's degree in health care, administration, management or human behavioral sciences, one-year previous working experience which should include customer service, and a demonstrated ability to use and learn new business technologies. Spanish language skill is preferred.
