That's why we created the Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced position: a flexible, dependable option for individuals looking to supplement their income, gain hands-on experience, or work toward a full-time career with the industry leader.As an Elite Security Officer Flex in Midland, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you. Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon05:45 PM - 11:30 PM How This Role Works: Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment. Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed. Responsibilities: Provide customer service to store team members, customers, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.Monitor access points, receiving areas, and parking areas to help support orderly operations and help deter unauthorized activity.Respond to incidents, alarms, medical events, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established procedures.Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, surrounding perimeter, parking areas, and loading zones; working environments and conditions may vary by site.Document observations, incidents, and policy violations accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts. Minimum Requirements: Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience, or at least 5 years of armed security-related experience.A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
