Job description
Emergency Medicine Locum Tenens Opportunity
Reason for need: ED expansion + a perm backfill
All of our physicians are EM trained and boarded - locum will also need to be
Prioritizing AL licensed physicians at this time
Shift: 5p-3a
Schedule need: 5-8 shifts/month
Start date: have shifts available as soon as June - can accommodate their availability
Will need potential coverage through EOY - timeframe uncertain, but there will be ongoing needs over the next year as we finalize our expansion
High acuity with 60k+ annual visits
Level 2 trauma center
Comprehensive stroke center
7 physicians cover in 24 hours
Independent fast track staffed by APP's
EMR: Epic
Credentialing timeframe: 60 days
