Job description
Design and construct specialized testbeds to evaluate PAT system performance.
Write software for telemetry, data acquisition, and system analysis.
Conduct hardware-in-the-loop testing to validate system capabilities.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues within embedded tracking systems.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to integrate testing setups.
Minimum Qualifications
Active Secret security clearance (an interim clearance is acceptable to start).
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
At least 2 years of experience in embedded C/C++ software development.
Strong proficiency in MATLAB and Simulink for control system modeling and data analysis.
Hands-on experience with Linux or other embedded operating systems.
Familiarity with camera interfaces (such as Digital Focal Plane Arrays) and image processing.
Experience utilizing Git or similar version control systems.
Prior experience working with Pointing, Acquisition, and Tracking (PAT) systems.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
Solid understanding of control theory, including PID loops and state-space analysis.
Knowledge of analog electronics and mixed-signal design.
