Job description
Role Overview: Provides direct patient care including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards. Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication use. Collaborates with the healthcare team to develop, implement, and document individualized care plans, ensuring effective communication across care settings. Utilizes critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences, values, and cultural considerations. Maintains a safe environment, adhering to regulatory standards and participating in professional development.
Qualifications & Skills:
Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing
RN license required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred with 2+ years of experience
No supervisory experience necessary
Strong assessment, communication, and patient education skills
Ability to work safely and maintain alertness in a safety-sensitive environment
Key Responsibilities:
Promote safety, quality, and regulatory compliance
Educate patients and families on care management and medication
Develop and execute personalized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
Assess physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs, considering cultural and spiritual factors
