Job description
This position involves coordinating patient care, managing personnel, maintaining equipment, and overseeing departmental operations in an emergency care setting. Responsibilities include hiring, training, assigning work, evaluating performance, and ensuring staff productivity aligns with departmental goals. The role also entails developing staffing plans, managing budgets, and supporting clinical interventions tailored to patients’ age and developmental needs. Additionally, the supervisor reviews staff hours, handles payroll processes, conducts performance reviews, and facilitates staff communications and meetings.
Qualifications & Skills:
Experience: 2-5 years for RN with associate’s; 5-10 years with bachelor’s. Supervisor experience is preferred, with no experience required for some roles.
Licenses & Certifications: Valid RN license.
Preferred Qualifications:
Leadership experience such as Team Lead/Charge or ANM roles.
Key Duties:
Manage staff hiring, training, performance evaluations, and professional development.
Develop and oversee staffing, budgets, and operational goals.
Ensure quality patient care and documentation according to policies.
Coordinate staff schedules, payroll, and communication.
Support clinical interventions based on assessments and medical plans.
