Job DescriptionTitle: Emergency Department Physician (ED MD) \ N
Location: Polacca, AZ 86042 \ N
Duration: 12 Months to Long-Term \ N
Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 24/7 (days and nights;
blocks of 5–7 consecutive shifts typical) \ N
Job duties: \ N
- Assessingpatients who enter the emergency room immediately and overseeing emergency recovery.\ N
- Conducting follow-up visits to monitor the patient's condition.\ N
- Requesting the appropriate medical tests and based on them, following a treatment plan.\ N
- Developing effective patient care plans.\ N
- Referring patients to appropriate specialists.\ N
- Ensuring that patients are stable before transferring them to the proper department for further evaluation.\ N
- Providing instructions for discharge and any relevant paperwork.\ N
- Maintaining patients' medical records.\ N
- Coordinating with different ER departments to ensure patients receive the necessary treatment.\ N
Requirements: \ N
- Full medical license information including any past or current disciplinary actions, license limitations, suspensions, revocations, investigations, malpractice claim history, or adverse privileging actions\ N
- Board certification or board eligibility documentation\ N
- Current BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS certificates\ N
- NRP and ALSO certificates if available\ N
