Job description
Role:
Responsible for the operational and clinical management of an Emergency Department unit, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
Manages staff including hiring, training, performance evaluation, and professional development.
Develops and maintains staffing, revenue, and expense budgets, responding to business changes as needed.
Directs patient care delivery following evidence-based practices, ensuring compliance with policies, regulations, and standards.
Promotes customer satisfaction, quality improvement, and efficient operations through system evaluation and implementation.
Supports growth initiatives and oversees team performance to meet operational goals.
Qualifications & Skills:
Requires RN licensure, with 2-5 years of experience and supervisory experience of less than 2 years. Preferred candidates hold a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, with 5-10 years of experience and 2-5 years of supervisory experience.
Key Duties:
Oversee patient care delivery in a Level IV Emergency Department, manage staff, develop budgets, ensure compliance, and enhance operational efficiency to support departmental objectives.
