nnAdheres to policies and procedures regarding all aspects of medication safety.

nnSets measurable and achievable short and long-range goals for patients, developing and implementing individualized plans of care.

nnPrioritizes and completes follow-up assessments, evaluating and modifying plans of care as needed.

nnAdheres to all pertinent regulatory standards, follows strict infection prevention precautions, and ensures medication safety.

n

nnPromotes an exceptional patient experience through effective communication with patients, families, and visitors, including hourly rounding.

nnUtilizes appropriate techniques, verbiage, and resources in all interactions with patients according to their level of understanding.

n

nnCommunicates effectively with the interdisciplinary team, completing thorough hand-off communication in all situations.

n

nnAbides by American Nurses Association Scope, Standards, and Code of Ethics, participating in practice changes, process improvement initiatives, and completing all required education.

nnManages staff accountability and adherence to regulatory requirements when applicable.

n

nnFacilitates team dynamics of patient care, patient experience, and patient flow including managing staff assignments.

nnFulfills management responsibilities including effective conflict resolution, patient/staff rounding and communication, resource utilization, comprehensive hand off communication, and completion of unit specific audits/checklists as required or assigned.

nnDemonstrates the ability to assess and interpret diagnostic data relative to patient age and condition, including, but not limited to lab results, non-invasive monitoring data, and interdisciplinary team notes.
