Position Details:
Emergency Department RN- Zanesville OH
Location : Zanesville OH 43701
Duration : 13 weeks
Pay-rate :$47-$51/hr
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) to provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients in a fast-paced emergency care environment. The RN will assess and triage patients, administer medications and treatments, collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team, and respond effectively to emergency situations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and prioritize patient care based on acuity.
• Provide direct nursing care to patients with a wide range of emergency conditions.
• dminister medications, IV therapies, and other prescribed treatments.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes in clinical status.
• ssist with trauma and emergency procedures as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Epic EMR system.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatments, medications, and discharge instructions.
• Follow hospital policies, safety standards, and infection-control procedures.
• Demonstrate strong clinical judgment and the ability to work effectively in a high-volume ED environment.
Required Qualifications:
• ctive RN license appropriate to the assignment location.
• Minimum of 3 years of current/recent Emergency Department experience and/or completion of at least 3 ED assignments.
• Strong emergency/trauma nursing experience.
• Epic EMR experience is required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
Preferred Qualifications:
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification.
• ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) certification.
• Previous travel nursing experience.
• Experience working in a high-acuity or trauma-focused Emergency Department.
