Job PostingProvides basic nursing care under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse. Requires the knowledge, technique, and communication skills to therapeutically meet the needs of assigned Med-Serg Patients. Responsible for performing a variety of assigned tasks. Must be able to identify each patient's age-specific needs and provide appropriate care.Minimum Education Required:A high school graduate or equivalentMinimum Experience Required:1 year Medical-Surgical Nurse Aid experience preferred.Licensure/Certification Required:Successful completion of an approved Certified Nursing Assistant Program preferred. Must be BLS certified required (or obtain within one month of hire).Skills:A commitment to service excellence and performance improvement.Excellent interpersonal skills, with legible penmanship and computer knowledge.Posses the ability to work collaboratively as a member of an interdisciplinary team, communicate with RN/GN staff to report changes in patients conditions.Ability to provide direct patient care to the Med-Surg patient.Shifts:RotationEqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
