This 36-bed community hospital has proudly served the Western Upper Peninsula since 1896 and is part of a nationally recognized healthcare network committed to caring with a local heart. The facility is an ACS-verified Level III trauma center with an average annual census of around 10,000 patients, featuring 11 beds inclusive of 8 private rooms and 3 trauma bay beds, supported by digital radiology, point-of-care ultrasound, 24/7 on-site CT, and a collaborative team of 5 employed ED physicians.

Job Details:
NP/PA to be considered for this Emergency Medicine opportunity
216 eight-hour night shifts per year (Monday through Friday, 1pm to 9pm)
Join a collegial and supportive team of 5 employed ED physicians
ACS-verified Level III trauma center with an average annual census of approximately 10,000 patients
ATLS certification required
ED physicians provide basic admin orders for hospitalists from 5pm to 7am
Hospital EMR: Meditech Magic
Digital radiology and point-of-care ultrasound available on-site
24/7 on-site CT available; MRI available Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm
Nurse triage process in place to support patient flow
Telehealth psychiatrist assistance available for psychiatric consultations
11-bed department inclusive of 8 private rooms and 3 trauma bay beds
Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance available
Student loan repayment assistance offered
Continuing Medical Education (CME) allowance and days provided
Paid professional liability and malpractice coverage included
Compensation:
