ED Medical Director
Aspirus Health is seeking an Emergency Medicine physician to join our team in Rhinelander, Wisconsin.
Grow your leadership skills and use the full scope of your training in a busy community hospital.
OPPORTUNITY:
Medical Directorship for Rhinelander and Tomahawk (critical access hospital) Emergency Departments.
6-7 clinical shifts per month, based on full-time status.
48 hours of medical director coverage per month.
Rhinelander annual ED volumes of 15,000+
6-7 clinical shifts per month.
Additional opportunities for physician leadership and development.

Board-certified emergency medicine providers treat all types of medical emergencies. Urgent care services are available during extended hours if you have minor medical issues. Our general surgeons are skilled in a full range of surgical procedures, including minimally invasive techniques. At Aspirus Cancer Care - Rhinelander, our medical, radiation and surgical oncologists use targeted treatments and supportive care to help you take control of your health.
At Aspirus Rhinelander Hospital we have a wide range of rehabilitation services including physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy. Many of these therapists have extra certifications and training in sports injury rehab, geriatric rehabilitation, stroke recovery and brain injury therapy.
For women of all ages, our doctors focus on your specific health needs. They specialize obstetrics, gynecology, breast health, pelvic incontinence concerns, and heart health. At the Women’s Birth Center, our maternity care team helps you create a memorable experience. Our nurse educators provide prenatal care, childbirth education and breastfeeding support. If you or a loved one needs help with the baby blues or coping with parenting stress, talk to one of our mental health specialists at the Aspirus Koller Behavioral Health Clinic.
