Clinical Shift Schedule: Flexible scheduling based on facility needs
PATIENT INFORMATION
Patient Demographics: All ages
Patient Volume/Census: Approximately 32,000 annual visits
Case Mix: Broad emergency medicine cases in a community hospital setting
FACILITY INFORMATION
No. of Beds in Department: 19 ED beds
Support Staff Available: Physician coverage (24 hours) and APP coverage (36 hours)
Reason for Coverage: Supplemental Coverage
PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: TBD
REQUIRED PROCEDURES
Emergency medicine procedures across full acuity range
JOB REQUIREMENTS
DEA: Required with VA address; CSR required if applicable
Experience: Documentation of case logs and CME for past 2 years required
Other Qualifications: Must be cross-credentialed at multiple facility sites
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide emergency medical care across all patient populations
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute conditions
Perform emergency procedures as needed
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team
Maintain accurate clinical documentation in Meditech EMR
