FACILITY INFORMATION
No. of Beds in Department: 21 Emergency Department Beds
Support Staff Available: 11-20 Hours of APP Coverage Daily
PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE
CME Documentation Required: Minimum 50 Category I Credits During Previous 2 Years
Immunization Requirements: Annual Influenza Vaccine, Current PPD or Chest X-Ray, Current Physical Exam, Annual N95 Fit Test, and Titers for MMR, Hepatitis B, and Varicella
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Licenses: Active New York Nurse Practitioner License or Active New York Physician Assistant License
Board: Current AANP/ANCC Certification for NPs or NCCPA Certification for PAs
DEA: Active DEA Registration with New York Address and Schedules II, IIN, III, IIIN, IV, and V
Certifications: ACLS and PALS (AHA)
Experience: New Graduates Considered; Training Provided
Other Qualifications: Graduate of an Accredited NP or PA Program
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Evaluate, Diagnose, and Treat Emergency Department Patients
Perform Emergency Medicine Procedures Within Scope of Practice
Provide Patient Care in a Community Hospital Emergency Department
Document Patient Encounters in Meditech EMR
Collaborate with Physicians, Nursing Staff, and Hospital Personnel to Coordinate Patient Care
