Job Description Join a dynamic urgent care setting as a Locum Tenens Nurse Practitioner, providing high-quality care to both adult and pediatric patients. This role involves working in the urgent care centers in Fayetteville, NC, with possible coverage in Lumberton. As a sole healthcare provider, you'll handle a high volume of cases, ensuring comprehensive and compassionate care while utilizing your experience and EPIC proficiency.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Patient Population: Adult and Pediatric (6 months and up)
Location: Fayetteville, NC
Stipends: Limited mileage reimbursement available (60 miles total/roundtrip)

Job Responsibilities Provide urgent care services to both adult and pediatric patients
Perform minor procedures like laceration repairs and ear irrigation
Utilize EPIC EMR for patient charting and documentation
Maintain a positive, patient-focused attitude and collaborate effectively with support staff
Qualifications Must have at least 12 months of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a similar setting
Active NC license and active NC DEA are required
Board Certification and BLS certification required
Proficiency in EPIC EMR system
Working Hours Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM with no call requirements
Must participate in mandatory Wednesday training sessions
Skills Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to manage a high volume of patient encounters professionally
Competency in handling both adult and pediatric cases independently
Strong soft skills to foster positive interactions with patients and staff
