Job description
A community-owned, nonprofit healthcare system is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to support Emergency Departments, hospital services, and clinics across Fergus Falls and Elbow Lake, Minnesota.
Position Highlights: Full- or part-time Enterprise Float opportunity
Support EDs, hospital services, clinics, and a walk-in clinic across the enterprise
Sole coverage in one rural ED with Avera tele-support currently in place
ED volume averages 3 4 patient encounters per shift
Average ED acuity of 3.5 on the 1 5 ESI scale
Support hospitalist team with inpatient, swing bed, and observation care as needed
Provide consistent, flexible ED and walk-in clinic coverage
EPIC EMR
Work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
Qualifications:
NP or PA-C from an accredited institution
Emergency Medicine or Urgent Care APP experience
ACLS certification
Active Minnesota medical license and DEA upon hire
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Benefits and Compensation:
Guaranteed base salary starting at $150K annually for the first 2 years
Additional earning potential based on production hours worked (wRVUs)
