Job DescriptionBring Better to the Bedside as an Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant at Sweetwater Freestanding ER in North Augusta, SC.

Local Team Collaboration:
Join our collaborative, close-knit team of 6 physicians and 5 APPs at Sweetwater ER.
Work alongside a diverse group of clinicians with a wide range of expertise and experience.
Provide care across three sites in the Aiken area, including Aiken Regional Medical Center, Sweetwater ER, and our new Martintown Road ER location opening this fall.
Accountable, on-site leadership: a local medical director who knows the community and owns the department's performance, supported by Sound's leadership-development tools.
Stable, well-staffed teams: cohesive teams aligned on our patient-first culture of excellence, which means less reliance on premium temp labor and more predictable shifts.
Qualifications:
Board-certified Nurse Practitioner.
1-2 years of emergency medicine experience.
A collaborative team player with a patient-centered approach.
Authorized to work in the United States.
Scheduling:
Flexible scheduling and opportunity to work between 2 FSED's and Aiken Regional.
Opportunities for part-time and full-time roles, accommodating your professional and personal needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide coverage for Sweetwater ER.
Manage all aspects of community emergency medicine, collaborating closely with colleagues and consultants.
Living and Working in North Augusta, SC:
North Augusta is part of the greater Augusta metro area and sits directly across the river from Augusta.
Offers a lower cost of living with easy access to shopping, dining, and entertainment throughout the Augusta area.
Located within driving distance of Columbia, Charlotte, and the South Carolina/Georgia coast for weekend travel.
