REQUIRED PROCEDURES
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Board: Board Certified
Licenses: Active State Medical License, VA DEA
DEA / CDS: Active DEA required
Certifications: ACLS required
Other Qualifications: CME and Case Logs past 2 years, COI, copies of all education & training diplomas, Driver's license, color photo, malpractice documentation
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide coverage as a Nurse Practitioner in the Emergency Department
Work 1p-9p shift daily as scheduled
Collaborate with attending MDs and other NPPAs to manage patient volume
Perform initial assessments, order diagnostics, and initiate treatment for emergency patients
Maintain accurate documentation in Meditech EMR
