The state is home to cultural and historical sites including Andrew Jackson's Hermitage, the National Civil Rights Museum, and Jack Daniel's Distillery in Lynchburg, as well as natural attractions such as Great Smoky Mountains National Park, mountaintop ziplines, and cavern tours. Distinct city experiences across Nashville, Memphis, Chattanooga, and Knoxville provide diverse options for dining, history, and scenic activities during time away from clinical duties. The Titanic Museum Attraction in Pigeon Forge and the Tennessee Aquarium in Chattanooga further complement the range of recreational offerings available throughout the state.
About the Clinician's Workday The Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner will provide 12-hour Emergency Department coverage during day and night shifts, evaluating and treating a variety of acute and high-acuity conditions in a community hospital setting that sees approximately 25,000 ED visits annually. Clinicians will work collaboratively alongside Emergency Medicine physicians, with 24-hour physician coverage available throughout each assigned shift. Board certification and prescriptive authority are required for this assignment. No call responsibilities are associated with this position.
