Job Summary: Methodist Healthcare System is recruiting an Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team in Fredericksburg, Texas, located in the scenic hill country, just an hour north of San Antonio.
Description:
Specialization: Emergency Medicine
Qualified Candidates:
Must be BC/BE in EM (MD or DO) and EM residency trained
Strong communication skills
Expertise in evaluating and managing acute medical emergencies
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with sound judgment and decision-making skills
Position Profile:
Annual volume of 15,000 patients
Current 8-bed ED with 4-bed expansion underway
24-hour physician coverage
Advanced Practice Provider coverage
Level IV Trauma designation
1099 position with up to 120 hours available
Meditech Expanse EMR system
About Methodist Hospital - Hill Country:
84 inpatient beds
8 LDRPs and C-Section operative suite
6 operating rooms, 2 endoscopy suites, 2 palliative care suites
1 cardiac/interventional catheterization lab
