Job description
TeamHealth seeks a full-time emergency medicine physician for Jefferson City, Tennessee, about 40 minutes east of Knoxville. The hospital’s 17-bed ED treats around 24,000 patients per year and uses Cerner as its EMR.
Shifts are 12 hours long with start times at 7 a.m. or 7 p.m. and there are 12 hours of APC coverage daily. Board certification in emergency medicine, family medicine, or internal medicine is preferred, reflecting the role’s expertise and scope.
