Job description
We are seeking anexperienced Emergency Medicine Physician for a locums opportunity in Apopka,Florida. This position offers the opportunity to practice in a modernfreestanding emergency setting with access to comprehensive specialty andinpatient support through an affiliated Level II Trauma Center.
PositionHighlights
Approximately 12,385 projected visits annually
11 private patient care beds
Dedicated trauma room
Fully integrated with a nearby Level II Trauma Center
EMR: MEDITECH
Comprehensive diagnostic imaging and EMS support
ClinicalServices
The facility offers:
24/7 emergency care
Diagnostic imaging, including CT, ultrasound, and X-ray
Dedicated trauma room
Ambulance bay for EMS access
Stabilization and transfer of patients requiring inpatient admission or higher-acuity care
Seamless transition to hospital-based intensivists, hospitalists, and specialists when admission is required
Requirements
B oard Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine with ABEM/AOBEM
OR Board Certified in Family Medicine with extensive Emergency Department experience
PALS required
ACLS required
ATLS preferred
