TeamHealth is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible emergency medicine nocturnist physician to join our exceptional team at Mission Hospital in Asheville, North Carolina. This is a unique opportunity to work in a high-acuity, high-volume emergency department in one of the most scenic and vibrant cities in the Southeast - all while maintaining the flexibility and autonomy of a 1099 independent contractor role.

Advanced EMR: Cerner FirstNet for streamlined documentation

Team environment: experienced EM physicians, APCs, and collaborative leadership
Ideal Candidate Board-certified/eligible in emergency medicine (ABEM/AOBEM)
Confident managing high acuity and complex cases
Strong communicator and team player
Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment
