Surgical Critical Care NP or PA Burlington, MA Greater Boston Äî 16 Miles from Boston Position Details Full-time, permanent position Schedule: 3 thirteen-hour shifts Äî 6:00a Äì7:00p or 6:00p Äì7:00a; 30% nights per month (scheduled together when possible); rotating days, nights, weekends, and holidays required Äî no exceptions Autonomy: No call Äî rotating shift model within a large, collaborative surgical critical care team of 12 APPs and 20 rotating physicians Setting: Inpatient surgical critical care Supplemental pay: $150 per night shift New graduate APPs not eligible Äî minimum 1 Äì2 years of inpatient experience required Practice OverviewSeeking experienced Surgical Critical Care NPs and PAs to join a well-established critical care team at a major academic health system north of Boston: Join a team of 12 APPs and 20 rotating physicians in a busy surgical critical care unit 1 Äì2 years of inpatient experience required Äî non-critical care inpatient experience considered Candidates with prior ICU experience as an RN transitioning to NP considered Prior paramedic experience Äî considered APPs who have completed a postgraduate Critical Care fellowship Äî also considered Family Nurse Practitioners (FNPs) Äî not eligible for this position Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary $150 supplemental pay per night shift Full benefits package Details provided upon inquiry Required Qualifications Nurse Practitioner (non-FNP) or Physician Assistant Äî licensed or eligible in Massachusetts Äî required Minimum 1 Äì2 years of inpatient experience Äî required Critical Care fellowship completion Äî also considered Massachusetts APRN or PA license or willingness to obtain FNPs not eligible for this position About the Community Äì Burlington, Massachusetts Thriving suburban community 16 miles north of downtown Boston Excellent schools and family-friendly neighborhoods throughout greater Burlington Rich New England character with easy access to Boston's world-class cultural, dining, and entertainment scene Easy access to New England's mountains for skiing and hiking, and the stunning New England seacoast Commuter rail and Route 128 corridor offering convenient regional connections Logan International Airport offering extensive domestic and international connections Home to major corporate campuses and a thriving regional economy
