Locum Emergency Medicine APP (PA/NP) Opportunity
New York State Capital Region Near Albany
Delphi Healthcare is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) for a locum Emergency Medicine assignment at a well-established community hospital in New York's Capital Region. This opportunity offers the chance to work in a busy Emergency Department alongside experienced emergency physicians and a collaborative clinical team while enjoying easy access to Albany and the surrounding region.
Assignment Details
Initial 13-week assignment with opportunity for extension
Long-term coverage needs available
12-hour shifts
Busy Emergency Department environment
Adult and pediatric patient population
Travel and lodging assistance available for qualified providers outside the area
Compensation
$115-$125 per hour, based on experience
Position Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive patient assessments and evaluations
Order and interpret diagnostic testing
Develop and implement treatment plans for acute and urgent medical conditions
Manage a broad spectrum of emergency presentations
Collaborate closely with Emergency Medicine physicians, nurses, and support staff
Accurately document patient encounters within the electronic medical record (EMR)
Qualifications
Active New York State PA or NP license
Minimum 3 years of Emergency Medicine experience preferred
Current BLS and ACLS certification required
PALS certification preferred
Strong procedural and clinical decision-making skills
Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced Emergency Department
