Position: Locum Tenens Emergency Medicine Physician

Estimated Weekly Pay: $6,990 - $8,280
Hours Per Week: 40
Shift Duration: 10-hour shifts
Schedule: Day, evening, and overnight coverage; flexibility to work weekdays, nights, and weekends required
Call: No call
Duration: 12 weeks
Job Requirements Board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine
At least 1 year of emergency medicine experience preferred
Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physicians with emergency medicine experience may be considered
Current ACLS, ATLS, and PALS certifications required
Comfort managing higher-acuity emergency cases and performing standard ER procedures
Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team
Responsibilities Provide emergency care to a broad range of patients, including higher-acuity Level 4 and Level 5 cases
Perform standard emergency department procedures as needed
Evaluate, stabilize, and manage patients presenting with urgent and emergent conditions
Support care for critically ill patients, including intubations and central lines when indicated
Work efficiently in a busy emergency department with an average census of 81 patients
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and clinical support staff to ensure timely, high-quality patient treatment
