FACILITY INFORMATION
No. of Beds in Department: 10 ED beds
Trauma Level: Level IV
EMR System: Epic with Dragon dictation
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Board: BC/BE in Emergency Medicine (ABEM) or Board Certified in EM, IM, or FM
Licenses: Active MS state license; active DEA with MS address; CDS if required
DEA / CDS: Active DEA and CDS as required
Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, PALS required (if not ABEM board certified)
Experience: Residency trained; case logs for past 2 years required
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients presenting to the ED.
Perform thorough medical evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including lab work and imaging.
Coordinate patient care with specialist backup and hospital staff.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic EMR.
