Carlsbad Medical Center is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician to join our hospital-employed Emergency Department team. This opportunity offers strong clinical support, consistent coverage, and the ability to practice in a community-focused emergency medicine setting. At Carlsbad Medical Center, you ll be part of Community Health Systems , a national network of regional hospitals with a shared mission to deliver high-quality care where it s needed most close to home! Emergency Department Highlights Annual ED volume: 30,000 visits
12-bed Emergency Department
24-hour physician coverage (two 12-hour shifts)
24-hour APC coverage (two 12-hour shifts)
Qualifications Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine
Current New Mexico medical license or eligibility for licensure
Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced emergency department environment
Commitment to patient-centered, evidence-based care
