JOB REQUIREMENTS
Board: BC/BE in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine (ABEM preferred)
Licenses: Active Louisiana medical license required
Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, PALS, BLS required if not ABEM certified
Experience: Residency trained in EM, FM, or IM
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients of all ages
Manage acute and chronic conditions in the emergency department
Order and interpret diagnostic tests
Collaborate with specialty backup and support staff
Document patient encounters in Ochsner EPIC EMR
