Job description
We are seeking a Board-Certified/Eligible Emergency Medicine physician for a PRN position to join INSIGHT Chicago and Medical Center Chicago. Independent Contractor (1099) status. Includes a robust package including a competitive hourly rate with RVU incentives, paid medical malpractice, and partnership
EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT
INSIGHT Chicago and Medical Center Chicago provides 24/7/365 coverage and staff with board-certified emergency medicine physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants. We are a primary stroke center, utilize Cerner as our EMR and are staffed with excellent specialty backup, including interventional vascular radiology and neurosurgery, supportive nursing staff and administrative staff.

32,000 visits annuall
Certified Primary Stroke Cente
25 emergency room beds, including ten fast-track beds, two assessment rooms, 1 EKG/lab room, two triage rooms, six ambulance bay
Flexible scheduling including 8-hour shift
32-hours of MD coverage and 24/7 coverage with a swing shift during peak hours for APP coverag
Low acuity patient
Cardiac catheterization lab onsit
Orthopedic treatment and surger
Internal Medicine residency programs onsite
