Opportunity:
Physician (MD) - Emergency Medicine
Job Details:
Standard solo Emergency Room coverage for 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
1 physician with 2 mid-level split coverage
Annual patient volume of 32,000 with daily patient volume of 90-100 patients
Physicians typically see 18-20 patients per 12-hour shift
22 beds in the Emergency Department
EMR system: Meditech 6.1
Open ICU setting
Board certification required
Provider must be NC Medicaid credentialed and enrolled in PECOS
24-hour availability of Anesthesia, General Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, and Radiology on-site
Labor & Delivery department available on-site
Housing provided in hospital-owned apartments
