JOB REQUIREMENTS
Board: BC in Emergency Medicine (ABEM)
Licenses: Active TX License and DEA
DEA / CDS: Active DEA required
Certifications: ATLS, ACLS
Experience: 2 years of emergency medicine experience required
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients in a Level IV trauma center.
Manage 12-hour physician coverage shifts, including evaluation, treatment, and stabilization of acute conditions.
Supervise and collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) during 10-hour APP coverage shifts.
Coordinate with specialty backup services including OB/GYN, Cardiology, Orthopedic, General Surgery, Urology, and Rehabilitation.
Document all patient encounters in Medhost EMR and adhere to hospital protocols and quality standards.
