Emergency Medicine Physician - Crown Point, IN BID RATE IMLC Accepted Red Flags Considered
We are seeking Emergency Medicine physicians for a long-term opportunity in Crown Point, Indiana. This is a well-supported community emergency department offering a collaborative team environment, strong APP coverage, and flexible scheduling options.
Opportunity Highlights Location: Crown Point, Indiana
Approximately 33,000 annual ED visits
Moderate-to-high acuity patient population
38 hours/day of MD/DO coverage
18 hours/day of NP/PA coverage
Day, night, and weekend shifts available
Strong APP and specialty support
Team-based clinical environment
Efficient workflows and stable operational support
Qualifications MD or DO from an accredited medical school
Completed Emergency Medicine residency
ABEM/AOA Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine
Active, unrestricted Indiana medical license
Indiana Controlled Substance License
Active DEA with an Indiana address and required schedules
CSR required if applicable
IMLC accepted
Red flags may be considered
Required Certifications Board Eligible: ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS
Board Certified: ACLS, BLS, and PALS; must provide proof of having completed ATLS at least once
Moderate sedation experience required
Credentialing Requirements Case logs covering the past 2 years
Current flu vaccination
TB testing within the past 12 months or applicable chest X-ray
COVID vaccination
CME attestation
10-year claims history
Indiana Patient's Compensation Fund enrollment
Malpractice coverage through Coverys at $500K/$1.5M
