Emergency Medicine Physician South Texas 1099 Up to $300/Hour
Level IV Trauma 70 Visits/Day Strong Specialty Back-Up
She Recruits is partnering with a high-volume South Texas community hospital to recruit Emergency Medicine Physicians for a 1099 opportunity offering strong hourly compensation and steady, manageable volume.
This is a well-supported ED environment with broad specialty coverage and balanced acuity.
Compensation (1099) Board Certified Emergency Medicine
$280/hour (Day)
$300/hour (Night)
Not Board Certified in EM (FP/IM with ED experience)
$270/hour (Day)
$285/hour (Night)
Competitive differential for night coverage.
Schedule 7:00 AM 7:00 PM
7:00 PM 7:00 AM
12-hour shifts
APP support coverage:
11:00 AM 9:00 PM
2:00 PM 12:00 AM
Team-based physician + APP model.
Facility Overview 12-bed Emergency Department
4-bed Express Care (APP staffed)
Level IV Trauma designation
25,500 annual ED visits
70 visits per day
EMR: Meditech Expanse
Patient satisfaction metrics actively monitored
Clinical Environment Admission rate: 10%
Transfer rate: 5%
Average patients per hour:MD: 1.4
APP: 1.6

General Surgery
Urology
OB/GYN
Interventional Cardiology
Nephrology
Interventional Radiology
Pediatrics
This provides solid consult access for a community hospital setting.
Requirements BC in Emergency Medicine or
BC in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine with ED experience
ACLS required
ATLS required
PALS required
Texas license or eligibility
Up to $300/hour
1099 flexibility
Strong specialty support
Moderate-to-high volume (70/day)
Balanced admission and transfer rates
Team-based MD/APP coverage
