Key Responsibilities for Emergency Medicine Physician:
Provide urgent care in a busy ED handling 50,000+ annual visits.
Manage acute cases including trauma, cardiac emergencies, strokes, and pediatric emergencies.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for seamless patient care.
Oversee ER operations during assigned shifts (12-hour options available).
Qualifications for ER Doctor Direct Hire: BC/BE in Emergency Medicine (ABEM/AOBEM).
Active Alabama medical license (or eligible); DEA certification.
2+ years ER experience preferred; new grads considered for southeast AL opportunities.
ACLS, ATLS, PALS certification required.
