Local Team Collaboration:
This brand‑new freestanding Emergency Department, opening in April 2026, presents an exceptional opportunity to be part of a new team providing high‑quality emergency care.
Accountable, on‑site leadership: a local medical director who knows the community and owns the department’s performance, supported by Sound’s leadership‑development tools.
Stable, well‑staffed teams: cohesive teams aligned on our patient‑first culture of excellence, which means less reliance on premium temp labor and more predictable shifts.
Qualifications:
Board‑certified/eligible in emergency medicine or board‑certified in family medicine or internal medicine with emergency medicine experience
Certifications Required for non‑ABEM Physicians: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and ATLS
Scheduling:
24 hours of physician coverage in the ED with shifts from 7a‑7p and 7p‑7a
12 hours of APP coverage in the on‑site Urgent Care
Key Responsibilities:
There are 7 beds dedicated to the ER and 5 beds in the on‑site Urgent Care
Radiology, CT and Ultrasound available on site
Medtech is the current EMR. Transitioning to EPIC in December 2026
