Local Team Collaboration:
Join Canyon Vista Medical Centers close-knit team of eight physicians and five advanced practice providers (APPs).

Qualifications:
Board-certified/eligible in Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine/Internal Medicine with 3 years of Emergency Medicine experience.
Authorized to work in the United States.
Scheduling:
Physician coverage 24 hrs a day (2, 12-hour shifts) plus 12-hour fellowship coverage a day.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide care in a smaller, community-based hospital with a level III trauma designation and a 24-bed Emergency Department.
Manage a variety of emergency cases.
Collaborate closely with Sounds hospital medicine team to ensure a seamless transition of care.
Work within a multidisciplinary environment supported by 24/7 specialty coverage, including cardiology with a cath lab, general surgery, obstetrics, orthopedics with spine care, neurology (with telestroke support), psychiatry (with an on-site inpatient behavioral health unit), oncology, and nephrology with dialysis capabilities in the ICU.

Sierra Vista, located an hour southeast of Tucson and nestled among scenic mountains, offers an easy commute to Phoenix. Due to nearby Fort Huachuca, Sierra Vista has a significant military and veteran population. It is renowned for its friendly and welcoming community and is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts.
