Emergency Medicine Opening - Elmira, New YorkLocation: Elmira, NYType: Full-Time, PermanentSpecialty: Emergency MedicineSetting: Emergency DepartmentSeeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Emergency Medicine physician (ABEM/ABOEM) to join the region's busiest Emergency Department in Elmira, New York. This opportunity offers a modern clinical environment, strong academic affiliation, and an excellent work-life balance in the Finger Lakes region.Position Highlights:Practice in a newly expanded, fully equipped Emergency Department including a dedicated behavioral health unitOver 45,000 emergency department visits annuallyEmergency angioplasty capability24-hour in-house anesthesia availabilityDouble physician coverage modelFull-time resident coverageLow physician-to-patient ratioPremier on-site ancillary servicesAffiliation with Lake Erie College of Osteopathic MedicineOpportunities to teach within Emergency Medicine Residency and other GME programsIdeal opportunity for candidates with an interest in academic medicine and teachingWork ScheduleApproximately 14 ten-hour shifts per monthQualifications:Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM/ABOEM)Eligible for New York medical licensureInterest in teaching and collaborative team-based care preferredCompensation & Benefits:Highly competitive salary guarantee with incentives ($385,000)CME stipendFull malpractice insurance coverageMedical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) and/or 403(b) retirement plansEPIC electronic medical record (Go Live March 2025) Estimated pay range/amount is $351,600 - $470,300.
