Emergency Medicine Physician - Locum Tenens Location: Enterprise, Alabama
Start Date: January 2027

Night shift coverage available
Established 24-hour physician coverage model
Supported by 24-hour NP/PA coverage
Approximately 25,000 annual ED visits
Epic EMR
10% EMS arrivals 7% admission rate 3% transfer rate
Schedule Physician Shifts:
6:00 AM - 6:00 PM
6:00 PM - 6:00 AM
Requirements Active, unrestricted Alabama medical license
DEA and CDS with Alabama address
BC in Emergency Medicine preferred
BC in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine accepted
Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department experience
ACLS, PALS, and ATLS required
Case logs from the past 2 years
CME documentation from the past 2 years
Credentialing Estimated credentialing timeline: 90 days
Providers should be prepared to submit complete credentialing documentation and immunization records.
