Job DescriptionJob Title: Emergency Medicine Physician \ N
Location: Chinle, AZ 86503 \ N
Duration: 01 Year to long term \ N
Shifts: 12-hour shifts (7am 7pm, 8am 8pm, 2pm-2am, 8pm-8am) \ N
Shifts/week: Min. 5 shifts/month \ N
Note: Travel- Flight, housing, rental car, and malpractice/professional liability insurance all covered by us
\ N Duties/Responsibilities:
\ N - Staffing the Emergency Department seeing an average of 10-12 patients per day (busy)\ N
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts (7am 7pm, 8am 8pm, 2pm-2am, 8pm-8am)\ N
- Diagnosing and treating acute, episodic, or chronic illnesses\ N
- Performing comprehensive examinations for adults and children\ N
- Participating inquality improvement/patient safety projects\ N
- Collaborating with physicians and specialists - Gen Surg, IM, Peds, Podiatry, Dental, Optometry, OBGYN, Psych,\ N
- Anesthesia and Tele-radiology\ N
- EHR System and Technology: Resource & Patient Management System (RPMS), 24 hour XR/CT. Ultrasound weekdays\ N
- during regular working hours, MRI occasionally on weekends. Sonosite bedside and glide scope with fiberoptic intubation.\ N
Job Requirement:
\ N - Board certification/eligibility in Emergency Medicine\ N
- ATLS, ACLS, BLS,PALS certifications (ACEP members can download the life certs from their membership portal on ACEP)\ N
- ANY US state Active, unrestricted license and DEA\ N
- Comfortability doing ultrasounds\ N
- Willingness to work nights and days\ N
- Completion of a US residency program\ N
- Commitment to rural, Tribal, and underserved healthcare\ N
